Uganda's Parliament continues Anti-Homosexuality Bill

Here it is. I thought it would be back, just didn’t know when.
Here is a little more from Melanie Nathan.
Today’s Order Paper contained the motion:

7.    MOTION TO SAVE AND RETAIN BILLS THAT WERE TABLED IN THE 8TH PARLIAMENT.
Mover:    Hon. Sarah Mpabwa, UPDF Representative
Seconder:    Hon. Ayena Krispus, MP Oyam North (UPC)

I will have an update later today or tomorrow.

  1. But we have read Bahati’s ‘Murder Bill’, and we know perfectly well what it says. So there we are.

  2. ‘Maazi NCO MP’ says this:
You think that if the Bahati Bill is called “murder bill” or “kill-the-gays-bill” enough times then it becomes one? The fact remains that this bill has nothing to do with killing anybody and more to do with protecting cultural rights of the Ugandan people.
He clearly hasn’t read Bahati’s ‘Slaughter Bill’!

  3. When you use the excuse of “protecting the culture” as a reasoning for genocide, you also accept all killings of Christians in muslim countries: after all they”re just protecting their culture.

What a load of rubbish. This is worst form of false equivalence I have ever seen. Gayism is a deviant sexual behaviour not unlike other forms of abhorrent behaviours such as prostitution and incest (which is criminalized in Western nations)…

  4. Well, I won’t … and haven’t. But I do support the policy of looking at other ways of distributing aid so that it reaches those who really need it. (There are no plans to cut UK aid budget, by the way, ‘Maazi NCO MP’, only to reallocate aid so that it is used to best effect.)

Perhaps, withdrawing the “donor aid” and gifting it to the Kampala-based puppets of the Euro-American Gay Lobby would be the most effective reallocation of the UK aid budget? No?

I will advocate for denying all foreign and developmental aid to Uganda. I will work tirelessly until all money that is being poured into your country disappears. The work ogf others has already starting to bear fruit and hopefully we can leave you and your country to rot together with your “culture”.

I guess we will have to endure yet another wave of hundreds of spam emails from mad Europeans and Americans supporting the transparently insane act of sexual deviance. I look forward to reading those empty threats about boycotts, sanctions, etc. I look forward to those unsolicited email attachment documents hectoring me on the greatness and pleasures of gay sex; those emails ordering me to respect the sanctity of gayism (i.e. anal sex) as a “human right” and other emails claiming falsely that the African Charter on Human Rights supports the abominable act of gayism. In the past, I used to ignore all these emails, but now I will try to answer some of them just for fun.

Richard, you must really be excited about statements of super flip-flopper Morgan Tsvangirai. According to the US embassy cables published by Wikileaks, this is a man whose own MDC party acolytes privately denounced to the resident US Ambassador as an “indecisive man”, “weak man”, “uncharismatic man” and “a man who adopts the opinions of the person who spoke to him last”. You have a man—-who denounced gayism, saying that his ethnic Shona ancestors will turn in their graves if it was ever legalized in Zimbabwe—doing a 360 degrees U-turn to support gayism in order to please his British patrons who were upset that he had initially refused to put their pro-gay viewpoints ahead of his own anti-gay viewpoint supported by the Zimbabwean majority. I am sure if ordinary Zimbabweans put him through enough pressure, he will perform another 360 degrees U-turn and overturn the pro-gay comments he made to the BBC interviewer. Nobody really has much respect for flip-floppers in Africa.

Whoops, I now see that the Bloomberg report (which is succint and accurate, as far as it goes, in its reporting of the Bill’s murderous contents) is there in the original post. Sorry, Warren!

Do you think that if you repeat a stupid lie several times then it becomes a fact? You think that if the Bahati Bill is called “murder bill” or “kill-the-gays-bill” enough times then it becomes one? The fact remains that this bill has nothing to do with killing anybody and more to do with protecting cultural rights of the Ugandan people. Like I told you previously, the United States and Europe will not be allowed to veto the sovereign right of the Parliament of Uganda to make laws for the good of the society. If you don’t like it then ask Davey-Boy Cameron to quickly withdraw his “influence-peddling” blackmail funds (which some people naively call “donor aid package”). The Ugandan people can live with such an action from the Baby-faced UK Prime Minister. What we cannot live with is some foreigner from a far-flung place imagining that he/she can remake Uganda as an exotic gay sex tourist paradise. You chaps should stick to what works—-Go to Thailand on your annual gay sex tourism and leave our people alone !!!
