Jon Stewart says very near the end of the clip…

What I have a problem with is people using hyperbole to induce an irrational fear of a particular group with the goal of ultimately reducing their numbers.

I have a problem with that too.

  2. Obviously anyone who makes the Nazi comparison has lost the high ground, but for Rep. Cohen this was simply embarrassing and produced good fodder for Jon Stewart. The truly despicable ones are those claiming, for instance, that Medicare incentives to present living will options to seniors somehow equates to “death panels.”

    I would leave out the references to the Third Reich, but otherwise he really was essentially correct.
