  1. Buturo is doing nothing but scapegoating. He lost to another person from his own party, the NRM, and so must necessarily think that guy is in favor of gays? Or there were enough gays or gay-supporters among his NRM constituents to vote against him? That’s laughable.

    Like many in any other ‘democratic country,’ Buturo, indeed perhaps many others who have been in power in Uganda also, all are likely in trouble because their constituents have lost faith in their governance, especially perhaps in not stemming the tide of corruption (or getting a little on the side themselves).
