  1. Oh…. and what was it Eddy said about the Democrats shooting themsevles in the foot?

  2. Considering what OneNewsNow [http://www.onenewsnow.com/2007/09/attendance_less_than_hoped_at.php] and Jim Burrows [http://www.boxturtlebulletin.com/2007/09/30/838#comments] are reporting about the attendance at the Family Impact Summit, perhaps this isn’t too good an idea.

Then again as they noticed the poor turnout there (why did you miss it Dr. T?), they may be trying this as a scare tactic to exert more influence upon Republican party politics than they are now perceived to have compared to the last two presidential election cycles (and since Karl Rove left the White House). This is obviously a glaring sign of weakness.

What Republican would become their candidate anywhay? Certainly not Brownback whose career would then be over. Maybe Fred Thompson if Dobson can suck it up. He’s the only one without a care about the party. Ron Paul maybe, although he doesn’t necessarily fit thei political views, but he certainly doesn’t care about the party. McCain could further his slide into hypocrisy and take up their mantle.
