Some people are one-dimensional in their thinking as this article writer obviously is. They are poorer for it.

I found it. It says you are someone who has condemened the measure strongly, but it is still very awkwardly worded and somewhat confusing, in my opinion. Here it is:

Ssempa has endorsed the bill, recently writing to Warren Throckmorton, Ph.D., (who is himself a controversial figure due to his therapeutic approach toward individuals wishing to “alter homosexual feelings or behaviors,” but someone who has condemned the measure strongly), “I am in total support of the bill and would be most grateful if it did pass.” Ssempa reiterated that view in an interview on Premier Radio, a UK Christian station

It should have read.

Ssempa has endorsed the bill. Ssempa recently wrote to Dr. Throckmorton (who is himself a controversial figure due to his therapeutic approach toward individuals wishing to “alter homosexual feelings or behaviors) that he (Ssempa) was in “total support of the bill and would be most grateful if it did pass.” Dr. Throckmorton, however, has condemed the measure strongly and has created a Facebook group to mobilze opposition to the bill”.

Warren, I read it the same way — you are not being overly-sensitve. I just sent an email to Mr. Schindler strongly urging him to post a clarification that you are clearly one of the strongest OPPONENTS of this bill.

Not exactly yellow journalism but pretty darn close. You’re not being too sensitive to the fact that you have spent several hours per day writing, organizing, calling and following up with those to oppse this bill only to be presented as a “controversial figure” because of your practice.

To me this is the kind of journalism that is dishonest and untruthful for not telling the whole story.

Warren, keep up the good fight. We oppose the bill with you and appreciate all your efforts to get a Christian message out there.

Warren, considering the vast effort you have put into both researching and speaking out against the bill, I don’t think you’re being overly sensitive. It was an unclear and incomplete bit of reporting.
